ALAN PARSONS LIVE PROJECT - Jerez (España) - 17/8/2019

Tras meses de espera la realidad es que allí estaba otra vez, atrás quedaron los conciertos de Granada, Barcelona, Motril, Madrid.... Después de un fuerte aperitivo con Ian Anderson y sus Jethro Tull, la mitad de Fresh and Alive nos disponíamos otra vez a deleitar nuestras pupilas con otro concierto del maestro. 

Sentado en la parte trasera del escenario en un taburete con su guitarra, cantando cuatro canciones, llevando el peso de los parlamentos al respetable y dejando más protagonismo a su banda, Alan nos regalo una de esas noches para el recuerdo. Sonido mas que perfecto, organizacion de 10 y setlist con alguna sorpresa, aqui os dejamos el concierto.

Godfrey Townsend es un músico de Nueva York que ha trabajado con muchos de los nombres más influyentes de la música rock.
En la última década, ha actuado con:
John Entwistle , bajista de The Who
Jack Bruce , bajista / vocalista de Cream
Dave Mason , guitarrista / vocalista de Traffic
Alan Parsons , productor / ingeniero / 
Godfrey Townsend ha aparecido con frecuencia en el BB King's Blues Club de Nueva York  con grandes artistas y con su propia banda, realizando su tributo anual de cumpleaños a Eric Clapton durante los últimos 15 años.   
Desde 2001, Godfrey Townsend ... también ha sido guitarrista / vocalista / tecladista y
director musical de A Walk Down Abbey Road ", un homenaje a The Beatles. En esta ocasion tambien toca con otros dos ex-Alan Parsons, como son John Montagna y Manny Focarazzo.

Peter Bardens' Mirage - Live Germany (1996)

En 1994 Peter Bardens dejó transitoriamente su residencia en Malibú y regresó a Inglaterra para unirse al proyecto de Andy Ward, ex batería de Camel, y junto a Dave Sinclair, Steve Adams y varios ex miembros del grupo Caravan formaron la banda "Mirage", viajando en diversas giras por Europa durante el invierno de 1995. Principalmente interpretaban temas de Camel y Caravan, y de esta época queda un álbum doble grabado en directo con el mismo nombre del grupo.
De regreso en California, durante un tiempo Bardens continuó utilizando el nombre "Mirage" para su propia banda y luego adoptó el de "Peter Barden's Speed of Light".
