Neil Lockwood

Neil Lockwood nació en Gales el 23 de febrero de 1958. Aunque inicialmente aspiraba a ser pintor, su pasión por la música lo llevó a una destacada carrera como músico y vocalista. ​

En 1983, Lockwood lanzó su primer sencillo en solitario, "Tale Tell Heart", que tuvo éxito en las pistas de baile del Reino Unido. En 1987, dejó su antigua banda, "The Shine", y colaboró con artistas como Mica Paris, Elaine Paige, John Parr y Duncan Browne. ​

En 1990, se unió a ELO Part II como cantante, guitarrista, teclista y compositor, participando en una gira mundial que duró tres años. Posteriormente, en 1996, se convirtió en el vocalista principal de The Alan Parsons Live Project, colaborando en los álbumes "On Air" y "The Time Machine". ​

Lockwood falleció el 15 de marzo de 2025 tras una breve enfermedad inesperada. Alan Parsons expresó su pesar por la pérdida de su amigo y colega, destacando su talento único como vocalista y su versatilidad. ​

La contribución de Neil Lockwood a la música, especialmente en su trabajo con ELO Part II y The Alan Parsons Live Project, deja un legado duradero que continúa inspirando a músicos y fanáticos por igual.

Aquí esta el concierto completo del Pressure Points, titulo escogido del primer corte del discazo del 84 Stationary Traveller. 

Tras los dos últimos álbumes grabados en los estudios Abbey Road y terminada la gira de 1982, el guitarrista y único miembro fundador del grupo, Andy Latimer, reforma la banda y en 1983 con la incorporación del teclista holandés Ton Scherpenzeel de la banda Kayak y Paul Burgess que por aquel entonces estaba de gira con Jethro Tull, comienza las nuevas sesiones de grabación en los estudios Riverside de Londres y mezclado en 1984 por Greg Ladanyi en Los Angeles. A diferencia de otros discos conceptuales de Camel, este nuevo disco se caracteriza por temas no enlazados entre sí. La historia, escrita por Susan Hoover, ocurre en la ciudad de Berlín en la época de la Guerra Fría y trata del amor entre dos jóvenes separados por el muro de la capital alemana y su deseo por volver a encontrarse. Para el Tour volvería a la formación Colin Bass, pieza importante desde entonces en el grupo. El disco tiene dos componentes de Alan Parsons Project, David Paton y Chris Rainbow, aunque David Paton no estuvo en la gira, sustituido por Colin Bass. En la presentación solo se dejan dos temas en el tintero, Missing y After Words.

Peter Bardens (19 de junio de 1944 - 22 de enero de 2002) fue el primer teclista y uno de los miembros fundadores del grupo británico de rock progresivo Camel. 
Bueno seguramente con esos datos os quedareis igual, pero sabíais que comenzó su carrera en un trío llamado Hamilton King's Blues Messengers, en el año 1962, donde también estaba Ray Davies? o que junto con Mick Fleetwood, formó el grupo llamado The Cheynes? o  que fue teclista de la banda Them del mismísimo Van Morrison?, y que también formó el grupo denominado Peter B's Looners que se convertiría más tarde en The Shotgun Express y que estaba compuesta por Rod Stewart, Peter Green y Mick Fleetwood? que fue co-fundador de Camel y que formo el grupo Keats junto a Alan Parsons? Bueno pues ahí queda eso para quien no lo conozca.
Hablemos de su otro proyecto MIRAGE (CAMEL & CARAVAN).
En 1994 Peter Bardens se unio al proyecto de Andy Ward, ex batería de Camel, y junto a varios ex miembros del grupo Caravan formaron la banda "Mirage", hicieron varias giras por Europa durante 1994 y el invierno de 1995, y principalmente interpretaban temas de Camel y Caravan, de esta época queda un álbum doble grabado en directo con el mismo nombre del grupo
(álbum descatalogado y que podréis disfrutar de el aqui).
Durante un tiempo Bardens continuó utilizando el nombre "Mirage" para su propia banda y luego adoptó el de "Peter Barden's Speed of Light".
Este album lo tengo como 15 años se grabo en el Manchester Apollo el 14/12/1994 y esta descatalogado en la actualidad, de ahí que lo compartamos aqui.
