Gaudi (1995),​ basado en la obra de Antonio Gaudí se aleja completamente de la versión grabada con The Alan Parsons Project llevándola a un concepto totalmente teatral, aunque sí incluye composiciones del disco grabado en 1987. Se estrenó en Aquisgrán (Alemania) y también pasó por teatros de Alsdorf (1995) y Colonia (1996) donde se construyó una sala específica con 1700 asientos para acoger las representaciones. Más de 500.000 personas acudieron a las funciones en los más de 5 años que permaneció en cartel.
El musical completo de Gaudí fue emitido por la televisión alemana. Los textos están en alemán, las canciones en inglés.

Una noche mágica con música, recuerdos… y un encuentro inolvidable

El pasado 20 de junio, Murcia se convirtió en epicentro de la nostalgia, la elegancia y la precisión musical con la llegada de Alan Parsons y su impecable Live Project. La plaza de toros de Murcia, vibró con ese inconfundible sonido que mezcla rock sinfónico, pop sofisticado y esos guiños progresivos que han convertido a Parsons en leyenda.

Pero para el Sr. X, aquel día empezó mucho antes de que sonara la primera nota.

A veces el destino juega sus mejores cartas cuando uno menos lo espera. Alojados en el mismo hotel que la banda, el Sr. X se encontró de frente, casi de forma casual, con el mismísimo Alan Parsons, el arquitecto sonoro de discos míticos como Eye in the Sky, I Robot o The Turn of a Friendly Card. Caminaba tranquilo, probablemente rumbo al restaurante, con esa presencia discreta pero imponente que le caracteriza. Y ahí, en ese breve instante, el Sr. X no dejó pasar la oportunidad.

Una charla breve, cordial, marcada por la humildad del propio Parsons, que siempre se muestra cercano pese a su leyenda. "Fue como hablar con un viejo amigo", comentaría después el Sr. X, aún con la emoción reflejada en su rostro. Fotos de rigor, sonrisas sinceras, y la promesa tácita de que esa noche sería aún más especial.

Y así fue.

Cuando las luces se apagaron y la banda tomó el escenario, el público murciano respondió con ovaciones sentidas. Alan Parsons, acompañado de su solvente grupo de músicos, ofreció un repaso magistral a los grandes clásicos de su repertorio. No faltaron himnos como Sirius, ese mítico instrumental que sigue erizando la piel, o Eye in the Sky, coreado por todo el auditorio como un mantra atemporal.

La noche también reservó espacio para joyas menos conocidas, demostrando que el legado de Parsons va mucho más allá de los hits. Cada canción se interpretó con esa mezcla de rigor técnico y alma que define sus conciertos. La calidad del sonido, como era de esperar, fue impecable. Y es que, tratándose de uno de los grandes ingenieros de sonido de la historia, cualquier mínimo detalle estaba medido al milímetro.

El público, entregado de principio a fin, aplaudió cada acorde, cada solo, cada matiz. Fue un viaje sonoro que transportó a los asistentes a otra época, pero sin caer en la simple nostalgia, sino con la vigencia que solo los grandes saben mantener.

Para el Sr. X, aquel concierto será inolvidable. No solo por la música, sino por ese instante previo, esa breve pero significativa charla con uno de sus ídolos, ese cruce de caminos que el destino regaló en los pasillos del hotel. Porque la música une, emociona, y a veces, regala momentos que se quedan grabados para siempre.

El 14 de mayo de 2025, Sir Alan Parsons y su banda ofrecieron un concierto benéfico en el Théâtre Maisonneuve de la Place des Arts en Montreal. Este evento, titulado Music is Medicine, fue organizado para recaudar fondos destinados a la investigación del glioblastoma y otros cánceres cerebrales agresivos en el Instituto Neurológico de Montreal (The Neuro) .

Este concierto no solo ofreció una experiencia musical inolvidable, sino que también sirvió para concienciar y recaudar fondos esenciales para la investigación de tumores cerebrales. La iniciativa destacó el poder curativo de la música y su capacidad para unir a la comunidad en apoyo a una causa vital.
